Our Pen Pals programme connects members from around the globe. Anyone can sign up — as soon as we have a potential match for you we’ll reach out with more details.

How does it work?

You fill out the form to the left, we’ll then find a match that works from other members who have signed up. Once we think we’ve found a match, we’ll reach out to both people to confirm they’re comfortable. We won’t share your name or contact information until both people have confirmed the match.

Once you’ve been matched, it’s up to you to connect with each other.

• What’s the last book you loved and why?
• Is there a book you wish you could read again for the first time?
• If your life right now were the opening of a novel, how would the first paragraph start?
• What are three things (big or small) that made you happy recently?
• What’s a little something that never fails to improve your day?
• What is something you love about the place where you live?
• In the book club we talk a lot about the concepts of “queer” and “queer joy” — what do either of these terms mean to you? (There are no right or wrong answers here!) </aside>
